Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a Recreation Server to assist and serve guests in Explorer Island. You will provide food and drink service in outdoor recreation areas, mirroring the standard restaurant service and knowledge.

The role requires English fluency, outdoor work in a resort setting, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits accompany opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Food & Beverage and working outside in a resort setting.
• Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to provide service to residents, guests and peers.

• Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions.

The Opportunity:

Recreation Server

Who We Look For:

We are looking for an individual who can provide dining support for Explorer Island, our recreational area. Explorer Island features a Family Pool, Splash Zone, Lazy River, and The Drop. Dry out over a game of beach volleyball, shoot hoops, or get your gaming fix at The Hideout. Our complimentary Kids for All Seasons program is also located on the island.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting and serving food, drinks and amenities to guests as they relax in our recreation areas
• Execute same level of food knowledge and sequence of service as restaurant servers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Food & Beverage and working outside in a resort setting
• Able to work outside during high temperatures, and be able to stand and walk for longer than 2-4 hours
• A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
• High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.

A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
