Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a capable General Manager for our Capa fine-dining concept. The role supports delivering outstanding guest experiences through leadership of the Capa team, ensuring consistent service, and maintaining high standards across all service phases.

The candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage, preferably in fine dining, and must be fluent in English with legal US work authorization.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
  • Ability to work independently and organize effectively.
  • Ability to handle pressure, set priorities, and adapt to change.
  • High work ethic and accountability for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the resort’s Fine Dining Restaurant, Capa, to meet standards.
  • Be visible in the operation, recognize staff, promote good relations, and address guest concerns and requests.
  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods; share wine and spirits knowledge in an elegant setting.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory and cash control.
  • Attend regular operational meetings to coordinate across departments.
  • Observe facility and equipment conditions and recommend improvements.

The Opportunity

Capa General Manager

Who We Look For

We are looking for an individual who can provide support in Capa, our Spanish-influenced cuisine, rooftop steakhouse and bar who has 2 years’ experience working in Food & Beverage, preferably in fine dining.

The Restaurant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the staff.

Responsibilities
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Resort’s Fine Dining Restaurant, Capa, to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met, daily activities and planning for outlet operation
  • Ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
  • Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
  • High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.

A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
