Job summary

Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a part-time Tennis Instructor to deliver private lessons, clinics, and group activities for guests of all ages and levels.

You will work with the Head Racquets Professional, maintain facilities, manage reservations, and uphold the high standards of service and guest experience that define Four Seasons.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in United States
• Minimum two consistent days of availability plus one float/flex day each week
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the tennis industry as a full-time instructor; resort/club experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with attention to detail and organization
• Professional demeanor with ability to stay composed in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to learn and assist with group programming (adult cardio, junior clinics)
• USTA PTR certification required
• Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5; 5.0 preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Racquets Professional in delivering tennis lessons, clinics, and group programming and manage racquet stringing and equipment maintenance
• Provide a welcoming guest experience including facility orientation, program explanation, equipment and towel service, and accurate guest data entry
• Maintain tennis facilities, court setup, cleaning, and full stock of supplies
• Answer phones and manage reservations to Four Seasons standards, assisting guests with resort and local information
• Maintain knowledge of programs and court availability and provide personalized service to returning guests

The Opportunity

Tennis Instructor (Part-Time)

What You'll Do

The Tennis Instructor supports the Head Racquets Professional in delivering exceptional tennis programs by leading private lessons, clinics, and group activities for guests of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

This role plays a key part in creating engaging, high-quality experiences that reflect the highest standards of instruction, guest service, and professionalism. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Head Racquets Professional in delivering tennis lessons, clinics, and group programming; support racquet sports growth; manage racquet stringing, and equipment maintenance.
• Provide a welcoming, high-level guest experience including facility orientation, program explanation, equipment and towel service, and accurate entry of guest information into the reservation system.
• Maintain the tennis facilities, including court setup and breakdown, cleaning, organizing area, and keeping supplies fully stocked.
• Answer phones and manage reservations to Four Seasons standards, while professionally assisting guests with resort and local information.
• Maintain strong knowledge of programs and court availability, anticipate guest needs, recognize returning guests, and provide personalized service.

What You Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Minimum two consistent days of availability plus one float/flex day each week.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the tennis industry as a full-time instructor, collegiate level or above playing experience is preferred; experience in a resort, country club, or luxury tennis environment is also a plus
• Strong customer service skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain an organized workspace
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, medium-volume setting
• Willingness to learn and assist with group programming, including adult cardio tennis, junior clinics, and advanced player clinics
• Ability to work individually with players of all levels, from beginner to advanced
• USTA PTR certification required
• Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5 required; 5.0 preferred
