The City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, seeks a Recreation Programs Supervisor to provide excellent customer service, oversee youth and adult programs, and supervise facilities and events. You will handle evening, weekend, and on-call supervision, and coordinate activities with staff and volunteers while adhering to city policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience supervising recreation programs or events preferred.
• Ability to coordinate and oversee events and activities.
• Ability to officiate sports games as needed.
• Must pass criminal background check and hold a valid driver's license.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to internal and external customers and maintain positive working relationships.
• Assist with promotion, implementation, and day-to-day duties of recreation programs and events.
• Supervise recreation activities, services, facilities, and events.
• Perform supervisory duties including assigning work and addressing complaints.
• Exercise judgment on park ordinances, weather, and risk management for programs and events.
• Assist with general Parks & Recreation office duties and desk support.
