Job summary

City of South Fulton seeks a recreation professional to float among centers, delivering diverse programs for all ages. You’ll assist with instruction, supervision, registrations, promotions and data entry, ensuring quality experiences.

You’ll maintain facilities, coordinate setup and teardown, and provide customer service across locations, with weekend availability required. A high school diploma is required, CPR/First Aid certification is needed, and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's in Parks and Recreation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required; additional area certifications may be needed.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license or equivalent with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Float between recreation centers, supporting a variety of activities for all ages.
• Organize, instruct, and supervise programs including youth, seniors, fitness, arts, and sports.
• Handle registrations, payments, and logs; prepare reports and class rosters.
• Promote programs with schedules, flyers, and promotions; assist at meetings.
• Maintain facilities, perform custodial duties, and assist with setup/teardown.
• Open/close facilities, coordinate tours, and document incidents and paperwork.
