The position requires an associate/technical degree in health, physical education, or related field, plus 4 years of related experience and CPR/First Aid certifications. A valid GA driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in health, physical education, recreation, or related field.
• Four years of experience in recreation, physical education, or related field including lead or supervisory experience.
• Possess and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Possess and maintain additional certifications depending on the area of assignment.
• A valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the activities of subordinate staff and volunteers.
• Train employees in assigned areas of responsibility.
• Provide efficient customer service.
• Plan, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with personnel, officials, and the public.
• Interpret and enforce rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Plan and conduct in-service training programs.
• Perform CPR and administer first-aid as needed.
• Maintain records on program activities and attendance.
• Manage fee collection, accounting activities, and program registration.
• Review and file to ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with district events as needed.
• Work with a team to develop ideas and solutions.
