Job summary

City of Santa Fe Springs is hiring a Recreation Assistant for part-time, seasonal work in our after-school and recreation programs. You will supervise participants and assist with program coordination at multiple recreation centers.

Additional duties include serving as summer day camp assistant when school is out and performing gym and field supervision at centers with facilities nearby. This role does not include benefits for temporary staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Temporary employees are not eligible to receive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise participants in after-school and recreation programs.
• Assist with coordinating programs at recreation centers.
• Serve as summer day camp assistant during summer break.
• Provide gym and/or field supervision at centers with a gym or fields nearby.
