Job summary

City of South Fulton, GA is seeking a part-time Recreation Specialist to support multiple recreation centers. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s in Parks and Recreation preferred), CPR/First Aid certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred in Parks and Recreation or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required; additional certification depending on assignment may be needed.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Work as a floater supporting all recreation centers in the city.
• Organize, instruct and supervise a variety of recreational activities and programs.
• Process registrations, collect fees and maintain logs and reports.
• Promote programs with schedules, flyers and promotional materials.
• Maintain and prepare facilities; perform custodial duties and submit repair requests.
• Open/close facilities, set up tables/chairs, and manage documentation.
