Job summary

City of Grapevine's Parks and Recreation Department seeks an RCA I to support daily operations across The REC family of programs, indoor/outdoor facility duties, and customer service for residents and visitors.

You will assist with registrations, event setup, facility maintenance, safety, and reporting, working evenings and weekends as needed. This role emphasizes teamwork with volunteers, staff, and partners to deliver quality recreation experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18 years of age or 2 years of full-time equivalent experience as a RCA I.
• Must possess or obtain CPR certification.
• Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily operation of facilities and programs.
• Assist with program registrations and computer processing.
• Assist with program and event setup, tear down, and implementation.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to questions promptly.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties and ensure safety protocols are followed.
