Job summary

City of Grapevine is seeking an RCA I to support Parks and Recreation programs and facility operations. The role involves assisting with registrations, event setup, and daily duties across multiple recreation areas.

You will interact with the public, coordinate with volunteers, and help maintain clean, safe facilities. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and able to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a calculator and perform basic math functions.
• Proficient with computers (desktops, tablets, smartphones).
• Ability to handle cash accurately and follow cash procedures.
• Clear written and oral communication with the public and staff.
• Ability to lead or work with staff, volunteers, youth, vendors and customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of facilities and programs, including opening/closing duties.
• Assist with program registrations and events, including computer-based registration.
• Set up and tear down for programs/events and maintain facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to public inquiries.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in facilities.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by spectators and participants.
• Complete reports and communicate with supervisors.
