The Community Programs team of the Provo City Recreation division is looking for high-performing, adaptable individuals to fill the part-time role of Recreation Instructor in various formats. Qualified, civic-minded Individuals interested in supporting the services provided to Provo City citizens by performing the duties described herein are invited to apply.
Pay Rate: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. Part-time Provo City employees are eligible to contribute to individual retirement savings plans through the City (401k, 457, Roth IRA, and/or Traditional IRA) and receive the following great perks:
All positions are part time. Hours worked depends on the number of classes you teach. Class schedule will be set by instructor and supervisor, must be consistent. Evening hours will be required.
This position requires bending, stooping, stretching, and occasionally lifting objects that weigh up to 50lbs. This position also requires standing for extended periods of time, and other varied activities associated with performing the essential duties. May involve interactions with members of the public in tense situations.
