Provo City is looking for a new part-time Library Assistant to provide library services supporting the Adult & Teen Services department of the Provo City Library. The individual appointed to this position will be required to assist in providing interlibrary loan services to library patrons. This position also involves communicating with and assisting library patrons.
What is the compensation?
Pay Rate: $14.00 - $16.64 per hour (depending on experience)

Six (6) hours per week during library hours. Schedule is negotiable. This is a grant-funded position; duration will be determined in part by the continuation of grant funding.
This work requires: long periods of working at a computer; lifting and carrying books and pushing book trucks; working in an open area; high level of concentration necessary for detailed work.

If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal.
