Job summary

Mill Creek MetroParks in Ohio is seeking a Recreation Manager to lead the Recreation department, oversee Wick Recreation Area, Boathouses, and athletic facilities, and supervise staff. You will ensure high-quality programming, facilities, and visitor experiences.

Ideal candidate has 18+, a valid driver's license, a bachelor's in Parks Administration, Sports Administration, Recreation, or related field, and at least three years' operational and supervisory experience in similar venues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with minimum high school completion or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree in Parks Administration, Sports Administration, Recreation, or related field
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in operation of a recreation facility, event center, or related venue
• Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Manage the Recreation department and its operations.
• Oversee Wick Recreation Area, Boathouses, and athletic facilities.
• Supervise recreation staff and ensure quality programming and visitor experiences.
• Ensure facilities are well-maintained and safe for visitors.

The Recreation Manager is responsible for the successful administration and operations of all facets of recreational programming at Mill Creek MetroParks. Responsibilities include overseeing Wick Recreation Area, Boathouses, and athletic areas, supervising recreation staff, and ensuring high-quality programming, facilities, and visitor experiences.

Who you are!
