Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a broad range of recreational, athletic, cultural, camp, community, and facility-based activities.
• Plan and schedule programs and events; monitor safety and facility use; maintain records.
• Guide seasonal workers, volunteers, or participants.
• Develop special programs to meet community recreation needs with initiative.
• Organize teams and leagues for basketball, softball, track and field, soccer, and football.
• Officiate athletic contests and promote sportsmanship.
