Job summary

Town of Groton's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a part-time Facilities Monitor for the Groton Community Center. The position offers up to 10 hours per week, 2-3 days, with weekday 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM shifts.

Weekday Hours, 12:00 PM (Noon) to 5:00 PM

STARTING RATE:

$ 19.00 / hour

POSITION RANGE:

$ 19.00 $20.75 /hour

Responsibilities include greeting patrons, opening and closing the facility, monitoring public activity, handling security or safety incidents, and providing basic program support, event set-up, and light custodial duties.

Candidates should possess strong customer service and problem-solving skills with experience working with people of all age groups. Preferred qualifications include mechanical aptitude, security experience, basic computer and administrative experience, alongside the physical ability to frequently stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operators
