Position Range: $18.00 - $19.00 / hour
The Community Service Officer performs assigned duties in the areas of parking enforcement, traffic control, and community relations. This role requires reasoning ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions, strong customer service skills, and the ability to enforce instructions with firmness and effectiveness while remaining calm in stressful emergency situations.
• High school education; college coursework in criminal justice or law enforcement preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to enforce instructions with firmness and effectiveness.
• Calm under stress, well organized, accurate, attentive to detail, and effectively prioritize.
• Considerable skill in operating a computer and related software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet usage.
