Job summary

Town of Mammoth Lakes is seeking Recreation Facilities Staff to support Mammoth Ice Rink operations and engage with visitors. You will handle reception, cashier tasks, and assist with snacks and inquiries.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, guiding patrons, and helping with events such as the Haunted Rink Skate Party. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or can be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.
• Operational duties including reception, cashier, snack and beverage sales, answer phone calls, handle customer queries, rink attendant/guard.
• Accept payment of fees; prepare and issue receipts; maintain records and files.
• Monitor and maintain facility and restroom cleanliness, security, and safety.
• Ensure patrons know and obey rules.
• Lead and participate in various recreational activities such as sports and games.
• Assist with special events such as the Haunted Rink Skate Party.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
