Job summary

World Equestrian Center Ocala seeks a Recreation Manager to develop and run engaging guest experiences across the resort, hotels and pools. You will design a diverse recreation portfolio aligned with events and property initiatives, ensuring financial discipline and staffing readiness.

The role combines creativity with operational rigor, leading programs that enhance guest engagement while maintaining quality, class and distinction across all venues.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in recreation, resort activities, hospitality, sports programming, entertainment, attractions, camps, community recreation or special events.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recreational programs across World Equestrian Center properties.
• Oversee hotel, pool and other venue programming to engage guests.
• Create a balanced annual calendar for diverse guest demographics.
• Develop entertainment, wellness, family and seasonal programming.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure safety, staffing and budgeting.
