Job summary

World Equestrian Center Ocala, FL is seeking a Retail Supervisor/Keyholder to drive store operations and develop sales strategies across multiple outlets. You will mentor Supervisors, ensure merchandising standards, and lead initiatives to improve profitability while maintaining exceptional guest service.

The role requires 5+ years in retail leadership with a track record of managing teams and delivering results. On-site position with events coverage and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive retail leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Proven success managing multiple retail teams or locations simultaneously.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of retail sales, inventory management, merchandising, and financial reporting.
• Ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Highly organized with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily operations of multiple retail outlets or departments, ensuring all teams meet performance goals and uphold company standards.
• Provide mentorship, training, and direct support to Retail Supervisors to ensure alignment with WEC’s objectives.
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager to develop sales strategies, promotional plans, and operational improvements.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory control, and visual presentation standards across locations.
• Conduct regular store walks and performance audits with feedback and action plans.
• Manage staffing schedules and participate in recruitment for supervisory roles.
• Serve as first point of escalation for customer or operational issues.
• Monitor financial performance, track sales trends to support decisions.
• Lead training sessions, staff meetings, and cross-department initiatives.
• Assist in implementing new systems, technologies, and policy updates.
