Job summary

The World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL is looking for a Sports Sales and Event Manager. This role requires a proactive individual to drive the development strategy and increase revenue through elite sports events.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sports tourism and proven success in outbound sales. Responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline and ensuring high standards in event execution. A Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated success in sports tourism or high-end athletic event recruitment.
• Proven experience navigating youth sports pipelines and contract negotiations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure elite youth sports associations and competitive leagues.
• Maintain and manage a structured, data-driven sales pipeline.
• Qualify prospective event operators to align with WEC’s premium brand standards.
