Job summary

U.S. Army MWR at Fort Drum is seeking personnel to support installation-wide recreation events and assist in the Business Recreation Division.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet areas, stages, and equipment for formal events, weddings, and meetings, and transporting materials with an electric ground cart. The role requires following detailed procedures, lifting heavy items, and readiness for irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Resume must be two pages (or less).
• Ability to remember and follow multi-step directions and procedures.
• Ability to operate an electric ground cart for transport of items.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas, private parties and outside facilities for events.
• Set up stages, dance floors, pianos, runways and related equipment.
• Restore rooms or areas and transport/store property and equipment.
• Operate a complex electric ground cart for movement of food, supplies and equipment.
• Perform tasks involving heavy physical effort following drawings and specifications.
