Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) at Fort Drum seeks a versatile facility setups specialist responsible for planning and executing event setups, stages, and related equipment movement for dinners, meetings, and gatherings. You will assemble furniture, operate a ground cart, and ensure spaces meet client requirements.

Responsibilities include heavy lifting, following detailed drawings, and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to remember and follow detailed procedures and multi-step instructions.
• Must be able to use hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, drill, etc.).
• Ability to operate an electric ground cart to transport food, supplies, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas, private parties, and outside facilities for events.
• Assemble stages, runways, pianos, and other items and arrange areas accordingly.
• Restore rooms and transport/store property and equipment after events.
• Operate a complex electric ground cart for movement of materials.
• Perform physically demanding tasks following drawings and specifications.
