Job summary

Omni Hotels seeks an energetic Activity Attendant to facilitate guest experiences at the resort. You will set up and manage archery, paintball and bicycle activities, communicate daily events and hours, and maintain cleanliness of activity areas.

You will assist in team-building activities, know resort policies, and be able to teach archery lessons and guided mountain bike tours, while operating tractors for hayrides when required.

Qualifications

• Radio communication and signaling knowledge.
• Basic first aid awareness.
• Ability to operate equipment used in activities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to guest and employee safety during activities.
• Communicate daily events, hours of operation and activity information to guests and staff.
• Set up and maintain archery, paintball and bicycle activities and supervise participation.
• Maintain cleanliness of activity areas and related vehicles.
• Stock fire pit fuel and ensure s’mores setup is ready for guests.
• Assist with team-building activities as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to policies.
• Lead or assist in archery lessons and guided bike tours.

Overview

To facilitate activities for Guests in a professional and memorable manner.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners
• Maintain a basic knowledge of operations in activities departments.
• Maintain the ability to check the daily schedule in Activities Software applications.
• Set up and maintain archery, paintball and bicycle rental activities and facilitate archery, paintball and bicycle activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of activity areas including: trash removal, cleaning/fueling activity vehicles, and pressure washing.
• Stock fire pit fuel and s’mores set up.
• Maintain pro-active work ethic.
• Assist, as needed, in Team build Activities.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

• Know, understand and follow all Omni Corporate and department policies.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of a Tour Guide.
