Job summary

The City of Evans is seeking a Recreation Supervisor-Athletics & Guest Services to oversee youth and adult sports, ballfield rentals, front desk operations and general recreation programs. You will supervise part-time and seasonal staff and coordinate community events.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field, 3 years in recreation and scheduling, a Colorado driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field required.
• 3 years of experience in recreation, leisure activities and facility scheduling.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, or ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise youth and adult sports, ballfield rentals, front desk operations, and general recreation programs.
• Supervise part-time and seasonal staff; assist with coordination of special events for the community.
• Maintain program revenue and attendance records; input data into registration and facility software.
• Create and distribute promotional flyers; assist with social media promotion.
• Coordinate with the local school district for scheduling of sites and facilities.
