Job summary

The City of Evans is seeking a Recreation Supervisor-Athletics & Guest Services to plan and oversee youth and adult sports, ballfield rentals, and front desk operations. This role manages part-time and seasonal staff and supports coordination of special events for the community.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field and at least 3 years of experience in recreation, with CPR/First Aid/AED certification or the ability to obtain within a few months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• 3 years of experience in recreation, leisure activities and facility scheduling.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Preferred: bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise youth and adult sports, ballfield rentals, front desk operations, and general recreation programs.
• Manage and supervise part-time and seasonal staff.
• Coordinate with the local school district regarding scheduling of school sites, athletic facilities, gymnasiums, and fields.
• Input program registration and events data into registration and facility software; maintain program revenue and attendance records.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to promote programs and meet community needs.
