This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Forces Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD located in Portsmouth, VA. Incumbent serves as Water Safety/Swim Instructor for the Aquatics Program. The primary function of this position is to instruct swimming and water safety classes at the Aquatics facility for patrons of all ages.
Responsibilities include instructing swimming and water safety classes, assessing participants' skills, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining certifications.
