Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) is seeking a customer-facing staff member to support a recreation facility in a role open to a broad candidate pool. You will circulate among patrons to ensure service is satisfactory, assist with equipment checkout, provide safety instruction, and help conduct classes and demonstrations.

The position may involve planning and publicizing special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions, with potential to guide other staff and take on

Qualifications

• At least six months of work or volunteer experience involving dealing with the general public.
• Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.

Responsibilities

• Circulates among patrons to ensure service is satisfactory and resolves customer complaints.
• Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
• Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
• May provide work guidance to other staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
