Job summary

Obsolete Site in Fort Drum, NY is seeking a customer service focused team member to engage with patrons, resolve complaints, and provide expert instruction on the safe and proper use of facilities and equipment.

The role includes planning and executing special events, coordinating logistics, and assisting with equipment checkout to enhance user experience and safety. You will also guide staff and be a reliable point of contact during busy periods and unique events.

Qualifications

  • At least six (6) months of work experience dealing with the general public.
  • Resume must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities for this position.
  • Willingness to accept intermittent, on‑call employment.
  • Ability to work irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and unique events.

Requirements
  • Direct deposit and a valid Social Security Card are required.
  • Meet all qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • A one‑year probationary period may be required.
  • Successfully complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215‑3.
  • Successfully undergo a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
  • Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
Area of Consideration
  • Candidates must live within 100 miles of Fort Drum, NY.
  • Non‑U.S. nationals must have lived in the U.S. or a U.S. Territory for at least three years in a row immediately before starting this job.
