Job summary

The Harborside Pool Club seeks a Recreation Manager to oversee all daily recreational operations across program areas, reporting to the Recreation Director. Lead the Pool Club Manager, Teen & Lifeguard Manager, and Program & Camp Manager to ensure safety, cleanliness, and Forbes-level service across venues.

You will manage budgeting, team development, and interdepartmental communication while driving program execution and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in recreation or related field.
3–5 years in progressive leadership and supervision in recreation or luxury settings.
Experience managing large teams across venues and shifts.
Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and cost-control abilities.
Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee Pool Club Manager, Lifeguard Manager, and Camp Manager across multiple venues.
Develop policies and procedures aligned with standards to boost guest satisfaction.
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and facility standards across pools and venues.
Lead trainings, meetings, and performance evaluations for team growth.
Create schedules, monitor labor, and control expenses to hit financial goals.
Review financial reports and forecast expenses across recreation operations.
Liaise with Engineering, F&B, Events, Marketing to coordinate operations.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare reports for the Recreation Director and attend divisional meetings.
