Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead the Aquatics department, overseeing program growth, staffing, training, and safety across multiple locations. You will manage budgets, hire and coach lifeguards, swim instructors, and coaches, and ensure outstanding member service.

The role requires experience in customer service, coaching, lifeguarding, and supervision, with strong swimming ability and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of coaching and/or swim instruction experience.
• 2 years of lifeguarding experience.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to bend and lift 20 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports all Aquatics Team Members.
• Performs daily inspections to ensure pool area is clean and safe.
• Facilitates lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques.
• Assesses performance, provides feedback, and coaches Aquatics Team Members.
• Manages the aquatics department within the budget guidelines.
• Prepares budget and financial reports for aquatics programs.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and meets Members' needs.
