Job summary

Complete Care at Cedar Grove is seeking a Recreation Aide to join our caring team in Cedar Grove, NJ. You will implement scheduled programs, assist residents, and help create engaging activities that enhance residents' health journey.

The role emphasizes empathy, energy, and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement and full-time benefits. Schedule is weekday-focused with some weekend hours, and full-time employees receive health, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player.
• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Computer knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
