Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Full Time Recovery Support Specialist to supervise clients non-clinically and support their recovery journey. You will help enforce policies, document behavior, and transport clients to meetings and medical appointments.

Responsibilities include supervising clients, observing medication administration, and assisting admissions/discharges while maintaining EMR logs and collaborating with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass State of New Hampshire driving record checks.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 12-step recovery knowledge a plus.
• Some computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to follow and complete a task list on a daily basis.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior work experience in a substance abuse facility a plus.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Direct supervision of clients.
• Enforcement of policies and procedures.
• Observe and supervise medication administration while maintaining accurate medication logs.
• Work independently or with a team and carry out assignments within instructions and routines.
• Offer clients support based on the 12 Steps in real life situations.
• Serve as an intermediate between clients and clinicians.
• Assist in admissions and discharge processes for new clients.
• Attend groups, take notes, and log information into the EMR.
• Transport clients to 12 step meetings and medical appointments.
• Demonstrate and foster Granite Recovery Center's Mission, Vision and Values.
