Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to provide non-clinical, hands-on supervision of residents during their stay. You will document observations in the EMR, assist with admissions and transportation, and support clients by reinforcing the 12 Steps, with a focus on safety, compliance, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• NH driving record checks required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 12-step recovery knowledge a plus.
• Some computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines with a positive attitude and exemplary customer service.
• Direct supervision of clients.
• Enforcement of policies and procedures.
• Observe and supervise medication administration with logs/records.
• Work independently or with a team and complete tasks per instructions.
• Offer clients support based on 12 Steps in real life situations.
• Serve as an intermediary between clients and clinicians.
• Observe client behavior to assess recovery impact.
• Assist Admissions Coordinator with intake and discharge processes.
• Transport clients to meetings and appointments.
• Attend groups and document information in the EMR.
