Job summary

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated Recovery Support Specialist in Chandler, OK. This full-time role supports clients through rehabilitation, crisis intervention, advocacy, and peer-based recovery services under clinical supervision.

You will help individuals regain control of their lives and participate in wellness planning. You will collaborate with treatment teams, assist in developing safety and wellness plans, and promote community education on PTSD and mental health

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current PRSS certification or demonstrated recovery.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be willing to self-disclose about their personal recovery journey.
• General skill in exercising independent judgment and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates activities supporting physical health and nutrition.
• Provides support regarding medications and physical health impacts.
• Develops individual wellness plans and provides implementation support.
• Teaches recovery concepts and coping strategies.
• Maintains client advocacy and recovery-focused services.
• Supports formation and participation in self-help groups.
• Promotes WRAP-based planning and safety measures.
• Engages with treatment teams to ensure client voice is heard.
• Links clients with community resources and supports.
