Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services in Bullhead City, AZ is seeking a compassionate Recovery Support Specialist to help clients begin their recovery journey. The role focuses on mentoring, education, and coordinating community resources within an outpatient structure.

The schedule is Friday–Monday, 11am–9pm, reporting to the Residential Program in Bullhead City. Pay is $15.15 per hour, with a $1 shift differential for 3pm–7am hours, plus eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years old with a High School diploma or GED and 240 hours of behavioral health experience.
• Must complete a Qualified Peer Support Training within 90 days of hire.
• Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and pass vehicle screening for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provides mentoring/support to individuals/families in services in coordination with clinical services.
• Assist designated clinical personnel in completing specified support activities.
• Provides education and support to family members.
• Plans and organizes activities within the outpatient structure.
• Completes daily paperwork requirements, including assigned clinical record documentation.
• Collaborates with clinical teams and case managers to advocate for the best interest of the client.
• Transports client as appropriate in SB&H vehicle.
• May be required to cover evening/weekend hours and be “on call” as required.
• Participates in at least weekly clinical overnight in accordance with ADHS requirements.
• Transport members to appointments.
