Under supervision, you will build skills, promote socialization, wellness, self-advocacy, and connect clients with natural supports. Responsibilities include case management, documenting progress, collaborating with clinicians and families, and delivering services in clinic and community settings.

Qualifications

• Certification CPS-MH by the Georgia Certified Peer Specialist Project and 6 months CPS experience.
• Ability to teach basic group skills and engage individuals in treatment and development of self-advocacy.
• High school diploma or GED; proficient computer skills to use EMR.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and provides recovery-oriented, psycho-educational groups.
• Manages a caseload, provides care coordination, skills training and referrals.
• Assists in evaluating progress and developing recovery plans.
• Educates and advocates with families and caregivers to support recovery.
• Documents contacts and daily progress notes.
• Collaborates with clinicians, staff and family members.
• Completes required trainings and defensive driving course.
• Transport participants for community outings; occasional weekend/adjusted hours.
