Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Recovery Support Specialist to assist residents in residential treatment facilities. You will monitor patients hourly, document in EMR, and support groups and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Ability to work in a multicultural, community-based organization.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Understanding of the agency’s mission and boundaries with staff and clients.
• Previous experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Clear UDS and criminal history check required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with adequate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hourly observations and record proper location in EMR.
• Complete EMR notes in a timely, clear manner.
• Do not be pulled from assigned patient unless necessary.
• Monitor group attendance and escort to groups/appointments.
• Conduct room checks and search procedures when required.
• Process intakes and discharges and related paperwork.
• Transport patients to hospital or off-site appointments as needed.
• Provide educational and support group activities for patients.
