Qualifications

• LCDC certification.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor with a genuine commitment to helping others.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment methods and relapse prevention.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills for records management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients individually and in groups, providing emotional support and encouragement.
• Assist clients in identifying triggers, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with licensed counselors to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment.
• Help organize and facilitate group therapy sessions and related activities.
• Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and treatment plans.
