Job summary

Path Ihc is seeking a SUD Counselor in Lebanon, OH to support licensed counselors and therapists in delivering substance abuse treatment. The role involves direct client engagement, developing relapse prevention plans, and co-facilitating group sessions.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, LCDC certification, and strong confidentiality and record-keeping practices to support a recovery-focused program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred.
• LCDC certification or eligible status preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients individually and in groups, providing emotional support and encouragement.
• Assist in identifying triggers, coping strategies, and relapse prevention plans.
• Collaborate with licensed counselors to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, workshops and support groups.
• Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and treatment plans with confidentiality.
