Job summary

A community health organization is seeking a Peer Recovery Support Specialist in Flemington, NJ. This role involves using personal recovery experience to help clients achieve their goals and navigate social services. Duties include attending client meetings and maintaining progress reports. Candidates should have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and valid driving license. Knowledge of addictions is a plus, along with at least 2 years of sustained recovery. Full-time position with a starting salary of $37,500 and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Knowledge of addictions is preferred.
  • At least 2 continuous years of sustained recovery is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain written weekly and monthly reports of client progress.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with clients in the community.
  • Support clients in developing and meeting identified goals.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication
Basic computer competency
Knowledge of local recovery and social service resources

Education

High school diploma or equivalency
Bachelor’s Degree
