Job summary

Haymarket Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Recovery Specialist to provide individualized services for adults with substance use disorders. You will develop Recovery Plans, facilitate recovery education groups, and coordinate access to community resources to support abstinence and ongoing recovery.

Join a not-for-profit leader in addiction treatment; you will maintain detailed documentation, track client progress weekly, and collaborate with clients and families to strengthen support networks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of substance abuse and case management services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recovery education groups and document attendance.
• Carry caseload of less than 10.
• Develop Recovery Plans addressing client needs.
• Assist clients in accessing services on and off site.
• Meet with clients weekly to review progress.
• Document required activities with strong data entry in Carelogic.
