Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Individual in sustained recovery from addiction.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CCAR peer certification.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to drive the agency mobile van.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on addiction recovery and facilitate linkages.
• Provide recovery education to service recipients for every phase of recovery.
• Assist in professional training, outreach, and public education services as assigned.
• Document clinical activities in client records as required.
• Assist Clinical Supervisor and clinical staff as directed.
• Identify and support linkages to community resources for recovery goals.
• Help individuals identify personal interests, goals and strengths.
• Provide services in office, community, mobile van and correctional facilities.
• Safely drive and operate the Mobile Medical Unit and maintain related equipment.
• Develop knowledge of culture and relevant community contexts.

Education
