Job summary

Coalition seeks a Peer Specialist who uses personal lived experience to empower clients in recovery. You will support goal setting, problem solving, and connection with community services. The role emphasizes empowerment, advocacy, and trauma-informed care within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, transporting clients as needed, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with diverse communities to advance recovery outcomes in the Denver area.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Peer Specialist training preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Bi-lingual English-Spanish and/or ASL preferred.
• Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship to clients using personal lived experience to build goal setting and problem solving.
• Facilitate counseling and recovery activities in individual or group settings.
• Coordinate healthcare, housing, and behavioral health services with teams and partners.
• Assist with transportation to appointments using a CCH vehicle or approved personal vehicle.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR and other systems.
