Qualifikationen

• Minimum of five years as a Connecticut-certified EMT or Paramedic.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or related field.
• Current certification or credentialing as Recovery Specialist or similar approved credential.

Aufgaben

• Conduct timely outreach following overdoses, EMS encounters, and referrals.
• Establish recovery-oriented relationships using peer support principles.
• Conduct screenings, assess needs, and develop recovery support plans.
• Provide education on substance use disorders, MAT, overdose prevention, naloxone, harm reduction.
• Connect individuals to detox, treatment, housing, transportation, and benefits.
• Maintain accurate documentation and grant-required data.
