McCall Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to support individuals with substance use disorders through outreach, navigation of community resources, and connection to treatment and services. This role involves ongoing recovery coaching, overdose prevention, and collaboration with law enforcement and community partners.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, with a pay range beginning at $24.00 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with underserved populations preferred.
• Two years of experience with substance use disorders and/or mental health required.
• Experience working with law enforcement or first responders preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform assigned case management activities to assist in achieving desired outcomes.
• Provide recovery coaching and overdose follow-ups as part of the CLEAR outreach program.
• Develop relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Maintain connections with individuals identified through the CLEAR program as needing services.
• Work with individuals who have a substance use disorder to connect to care, including overdose prevention and MAT.
• Conduct a minimum of 20 case contacts per week.
• Utilize community resources and make referrals to support recovery plans.
• Identify clients facing barriers to treatment and assist with entitlements and resources.
• Provide community-based overdose and injury prevention services, including Narcan training.
• Plan and provide community engagement activities and trainings.
• Identify and implement new strategies to advance CLEAR's mission and reduce stigma.
• Share updates with partners and the community with the Site Coordinator.
• Conduct at least 10 outreach events per week across various sites and events.
• Attend staff meetings and required supervision.
