Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to assist members in a community setting, sharing personal experiences to support recovery and wellness. You will provide living skills training, personal assistance and peer/family support, while helping with care coordination and access to community resources.

The role emphasizes recovery-oriented practice, documentation accuracy, and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Full benefits available, with a 40-hour work week in Glendale, AZ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 weeks of behavioral health employment experience.
• Self-identify as a Behavioral Health recipient in recovery for 1–3 years and/or have family experience with mental illness or chronic disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide living skills training, peer and family support and recovery-based services.
• Assist members with care coordination and access to community supports.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of member engagements.
• Promote community integration, independence and self-sufficiency.
