Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist at the Mitchell Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role engages patients in recovery, coordinates care with clinicians, and supports group activities to promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 weeks of behavioral health employment experience.
• Professional experience in nutrition, fitness and/or physical health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to engage, educate, communicate, and coordinate care with patients, their families, and providers.
• Conduct face-to-face interactions with patients, families, and other involved parties in the home, community, and recovery clinic.
• Facilitate peer support and psychosocial groups in clinic or community settings.
