Terros Health in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join an interdisciplinary clinical team serving individuals with Serious Mental Illness or mental health needs under court-ordered treatment. You will mentor clients, support recovery goals, and help develop plans and tools for healthier living.

The role emphasizes 1:1 and group coaching on topics like tobacco cessation, nutrition, health management, and strengthening interpersonal relationships.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 weeks of behavioral health employment experience.
• Peer Employment Training and Arizona State Peer Certification preferred.
• Self-identify as a Behavioral Health recipient in recovery for 1–3 years and/or have family experience with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide recovery-based coaching for SMI clients.
• Assist in developing plans and tools for healthy living.
• Conduct 1:1 and group coaching on health topics, including tobacco cessation, diet, and health management.
