Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide supportive services to members in a community setting and facilitate recovery-based services by sharing personal experiences. You will help with living skills training, personal assistance, and peer/family support, while aiding care coordination and access to community supports.

Responsibilities include promoting community integration, independence, and thorough documentation of engagements.

Qualifications

• Must have GED/high school diploma with 1.5 years of behavioral health experience or relevant degree.
• Associates degree in medical or behavioral health.
• Bachelor's degree with behavioral health experience (not in field) or higher in behavioral health.
• Master's degree or higher in behavioral health preferred.
• Self-identify as a Behavioral Health recipient in recovery for 1–3 years and/or have family experience with serious mental illness or chronic disease.
• Valid AZ Driver License and driving history requirements per policy.

Responsibilities

• Help members with care coordination and access to community supports.
• Promote community integration, independence and self-sufficiency.
