Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) / Peer Support Specialist (PSS) to provide culturally specific peer support to refugee-immigrant and BIPOC clients experiencing substance use concerns. The role involves case management, care coordination, and 1:1 peer counseling, with outreach and community engagement across Beaverton and Portland offices.

You will document services in electronic health records, collaborate with treatment teams, and uphold agency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CRM or PSS certification.
• Reliable transportation for business purposes.
• Excellent communication in English and written skills.
• Criminal clearance including background checks and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally specific peer support to clients in recovery.
• Coordinate case management and education/employment support.
• Document services in electronic health records per policy.
• Support outreach and community engagement activities.
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for clients.
• Maintain compliance with program requirements and reporting.
